Wooden Japanese Daruma Otoshi

Item Information 

A traditional Japanese toy that features a stack of colorful wooden discs. The toy consists of a base with 5 layers of wooden discs stacked on top of each other. 

The toy's name is derived from the Daruma doll (a symbol of perseverance and good luck in Japan) because the toy's design often includes the Daruma face or is shaped similarly. 

For children, Daruma Otoshi teaches important life skills such as concentration, fine motor control, and patience. The delicate task of knocking out the wooden discs without disturbing the balance of the stack requires a steady hand and precise movements, making it an excellent game for developing fine motor skills.

Instructions
To play, pull out the small hammer from the top then knock out the lower discs one by one without toppling the entire stack.
